The man who finds a wife finds a treasure and receives favor from the LORD. Proverbs 18:22 NLT

God designed for me to be in marriage with you and He sanctified it, and because of this covenant relationship I have with you, I can truly say I have found real love and fulfillment.

She is a loving doe, a graceful deer… May you always be captivated by her love. Proverbs 5:19 NLT

Your strength, great compassion, and dignity are all the result of your reverence to God. You are a great inspiration and encouragement to me. You greatly enrich my life!

Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is worth more than precious rubies. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life.  She will not hinder him but help him all her life. Proverbs 31:10-12 NLT

The goodness and wisdom I have found in you is scarce among women. I appreciate you so much and enjoy your companionship. I thank God for blessing and rewarding me with a loving and caring woman like you, after all the sorrow I have been through.

The wife God gives you is your reward for all your earthly toil. Ecclesiastes 9:9 NLT

You always win me over as I watch your godly life and behavior which speaks to me louder than any words.

Your godly lives will speak to them better than any words. They will be won over by watching your pure, godly behavior. 1. Peter 3:1-2 NLT

I love you, and the more I love God I am able to love myself, and therefore I am able to give you more and more love.

In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man is actually loving himself when he loves his wife. Ephesians 5:28 NLT

I thank God for giving me you as this beautiful gift of marriage.

God gives some the gift of marriage,… 1. Corinthians 7:7 NLT

I am committed to always think about ways to please you.

He has to think about his earthly responsibilities and how to please his wife. 1. Corinthians 7:33 NLT

I will be considerate and respectful toward you, so that nothing will hinder my prayers to be heard and answered by God.

In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat her with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. If you don’t treat her as you should, your prayers will not be heard. 1. Peter 3:7 NLT

Taken from the Bible’s book Song of Songs, I express my love and admiration for you, my beloved wife:

“How beautiful you are, my beloved, how beautiful! I am overcome by one glance of your eyes, by a single bead of your necklace. How sweet is your love, my treasure, my bride!

Your teeth are as white as sheep, newly shorn and washed. They are perfectly matched; not one is missing. Your lips are like a ribbon of scarlet.

Oh, how beautiful your mouth!

Your perfume is more fragrant than the richest of spices.

‘Who is this,’ they ask, ‘arising like the dawn, as fair as the moon, as bright as the sun, as majestic as an army with banners?'”

Your qualities of fearing God, hard work, the love and respect you show for me, care for others, concern for the poor, and the wise handling of our financial affairs – all these qualities in you has brought abundant blessings, honor, and enjoyment in my life.

You are indeed a true woman of God, equal to the one portrayed in the book of Proverbs, who shows us real beauty by walking wisely, making good decisions, and living according to God’s ideal. That is why I honor you and give God praise for you! I love you!

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise. Proverbs 31:30-31 NLT
