Here is what the apostle Paul, who ones himself was living under the Law, says in the Bible:
“So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.” Galatians 5:1 NLT
“In His own body on the cross, Jesus Christ broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations.” Ephesians 2:14-15 NLT
“For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.” Galatians 5:4 NLT
“What is important is faith expressing itself in love.” Galatians 5:6 NLT
“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”” Galatians 5:13-14 NLT
Blowing shofars was only based on the Old Testament covenant, but has been done with when Jesus Christ died on the cross, and in doing so He ended the system of law with its commandments and regulations. (See Ephesians 2:15)
So, why do some Christians blow the shofar when nowhere in the New Testament we are told to do so? Jesus didn’t blow it, nor His disciples!
The modern Christian Church has made the church a marketplace where it charges you MONEY to be taught God’s Word through their bible schools, seminars and conferences. You must pay a non-refundable fee before a certain deadline, and then the rest of the course and material fees have to be paid in full before the classes start. Participating in these schools can cost you thousands of dollars! And on top of that, you are required to pay your tithes, 10% of your monetary income.
The Church also sell all sorts of Christian merchandise like books, CD’s, and DVD’s with Bible teachings, studies and revelations, among other things, justifying it as ways to provide for the ministry. The Church even charges for food and beverages.
Whether they are Evangelicals, Pentecostals or Charismatics, they all do it!
And yet, the Bible never said that Jesus Christ nor His disciples ever charged anybody for their teachings! As matter of fact, Jesus taught, “Freely you have received, freely give” Matthew 10:8 NKJV

From time to time, I have met Christians who tells me that God requires of me as a follower of Jesus Christ to observe Jewish dates and festivities, keeping rules, including the Sabbath law. They seem to believe that keeping these Old Testament feast traditions and laws elevates their Christian walk. Many of them are very zealous, prideful and arrogant in their quest to convince you to get on board with this belief system.
Yet, the Bible says in the New Testament:
“In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable.” Romans 14:5 NLT
“So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ Himself is that reality.” Colossians 2:16-17 NLT
This is because of what the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ did for us, as is written:
“For Christ [...]
