Christian women dream of having the ideal godly husband!

What these women are actually looking for is a man that God knew in advance, and chose to become like His Son, Jesus Christ! (See Romans 8:29)

It is man who loves his wife unconditionally, just as Christ loves the church. He provides leadership to his wife the way Christ does to His church, not by domineering, but by cherishing.

It is a man who does not reject or hate himself, but is full of God’s love! He knows that a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself! His words evoke his wife’s beauty.

Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her! He will make her look good, as she radiates with God’s holiness! (See Ephesians 5:22-30)

It is a man who loves and honors his wife and never treats her harshly! Instead, he treats her with understanding and as an equal partner in God’s gift of new life. He knows, that as he treats her as he should, his prayers will not be hindered! (See [...]

The apostle Paul taught that if a man thinks he is treating his fiancée improperly by giving in to his passion and having sex with her, he should marry her as he wishes. It is not a sin. In other words, if they can’t control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. Because it’s better to marry than to burn with lust! Otherwise it becomes a sin to have sex without being married! (See 1. Corinthians 7:9, 36-38)

But marriage must never become a distraction to one’s spiritual walk. You always need to be with someone who encourages you spiritually, and not someone who will distract you and pull you away from God!

Because, how can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can light live with darkness? How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness?   Therefore, you should never team up with and marry someone who is an unbeliever!!! (See 2. Corinthians 6:14-16)

The Bible speaks about the dangers of the last days, where, among other things, vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth! (See 2. Timothy 3:6-7)

How amazingly true this is! Over the years, we have seen many such women go from one prophetic meeting to another, without their lives changing for the good and them becoming godly!

Instead of following Biblical truth, these women no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They are being tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching, and they are easily influenced when people try to trick them with lies so clever, they sound like the truth!

These women follow their own desires, and they are only looking for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They reject the truth, and chase after myths! Our modern-day myth include prophetic teachings, revelations about how to get into your promised land, when and how you will get your “Boaz” [...]

When you are a chosen child of God, He is working in you through His Holy Spirit, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him! (See Philippians 2:13)

It is the Holy Spirit that helps you in your weakness. For example, you don’t know what God wants you to pray for, but the Father, who knows all hearts, knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for you in harmony with God’s own will, causing you to pray and only ask for things that He desires for you! (See Romans 8:26-27)

That’s why it says that we can be confident that God hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him!  And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for! (See 1. John 5:14-15)

Now we also understand, what Jesus meant when He said: “ You didn’t choose Me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask [...]

Nehemiah, an Israelite living in exile, was a cup bearer to the king of Persia. One day he was informed, that Jerusalem was in a state of despair with its people poor and the city walls in ruins. Upon hearing this, Nehemiah became filled with sorrow and felt led to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the city walls. God confirmed Nehemiah by giving him favor with the king of Persia to travel to Jerusalem. The king gave Nehemiah passages and supplies to help with the construction of the wall. (See Nehemiah 1:1-11)

When Nehemiah got to Jerusalem, he told the people how the gracious hand of God had been upon him, giving him favor with the king to build the wall.

Then the people of Israel replied at once, “Yes, let’s rebuild the wall!” (See Nehemiah 2:10)

But, Nehemiah encountered great opposition from on all sides of the enemies of Judah for his plans to rebuild the wall. The Samaritans, Ammonites, Arabs and Philistines, they all came against Nehemiah!

Here is a sample of the opposition that Nehemiah had to endure before [...]

“The Lord has made everything for His own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster!” Proverbs 16:4 NLT

For example, God told the hard-hearted evil king of Egypt, Pharaoh, who went after the Israelites to kill them, but instead ended up drowning with his whole army in the Red Sea, the following: “I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying My power in you and to spread My fame throughout the earth!” (See Romans 9:17 NLT)

“This message shows that God chooses people according to His own purposes!” Romans 9:11 NLT

That’s why the Bible says that, “God chooses to show mercy to some, and He chooses to harden the hearts of others so they refuse to listen!” Romans 9:18 NLT

Now we understand why Jesus said: “You didn’t choose Me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit!” John 15:16 NLT

So, it is God who decides to show mercy to whom He chooses! You can neither choose it nor work for it! (See Romans 9:16)

Jesus said about the wicked woman named Jezebel from the Thyatira Church that He gave her time to repent, but she does not want to turn away from her immorality! (See Revelation 2:21)

Why? How can He say that? Because women, who have the Jezebel Spirit, are narcissistic people, who are not able or willing to admit any wrongdoing! In their mind, they are never wrong and therefore they will never repent! You can pray for such people till the cows come home, it ain’t gonna happen! She will not! Just as Jesus said it, “She DOES NOT WANT to turn away from her immorality!” Revelation 2:21 NLT

Instead, she will rebelliously continue in her immoral ways, pretending to be a so-called super spiritual Christian, all the while usurping the authority of men, disrespecting, controlling, and emasculating them. She is lying and causing division, and leading the believers away from a relationship with Christ into one that worships her, as she cleverly uses false teachings and prophecies to entice them!

In other words: Once a Jezebel, always a Jezebel!

We have to [...]

When Jesus was rebuking the Thyatira Church for allowing Jezebel to rule over them, He was talking about a WOMAN, NOT a MAN!

Jesus clearly said: “But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that WOMAN—that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet—to lead my servants astray.” Revelations 2:20 NLT

Jesus was comparing this woman in the Thyatira Church to the infamous, wicked woman, Queen Jezebel, from the Old Testament days, who was known for undermining the authority of her husband, King Ahab, by controlling and manipulating him, and taking over his leadership. (See 1. Kings 21)

I have heard many women, especially those who have the Jezebel spirit, cleverly confusing this issue and shifting the focus off from themselves, by saying that the spirit of Jezebel also operates in men! You will find these women in prophetic church circles, many times leading the gatherings. Isn’t it amazing how Jesus emphasized that Jezebel calls herself a prophet, who “leads My servants astray”? During our many years of traveling for the ministry, we have encountered so many women – too many to [...]

Jesus said: “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.” Matthew 7:6 NLT

Pigs here are representative of those who would ridicule, reject, and blaspheme the gospel once it has been given to them. We are not to give the gospel of Jesus Christ to someone, who has no other purpose than to trample it and return to his own evil ways. We identify such people through discernment, as indicated in 1. Corinthians 2:15 NLT:  “Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things!”

This does not mean that we refrain from preaching the gospel, but if anyone refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, let him or her go, and as the Bible says; shake the dust from your feet as you leave! (See Matthew 10:14)

The gospel is not for those who mock and trample it, and then turn on you and abuse you!

Being overweight is probably one of the most depressing problems plaguing Christians today. It has become an epidemic! They greatly struggle with low self-esteem, self-rejection, and self-hatred. Many are also jealous and even scoff at those who are slim and look good. Just telling them to consume fewer calories than their body’s burns over the course of a day or week, does not cut it for most of them. Beside health issues that can cause weight gain, most of these people are comfort-eaters, meaning they compulsively eat because of unresolved pain or traumas caused at some point in their lives. They just cannot control the urge inside of them for the need to medicate themselves with food!

And yet the Bible says that one of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control! (See Galatians 5:22-23)

In other words, anybody who is chosen by God, will be able to overcome being overweight or obese by exercising self-control!

As the apostle Paul said: “I am allowed to do anything, but not everything is good or beneficial for you. And even though I am allowed [...]
