Nasty Husbands

Some God-fearing women are married to flat out nasty husbands. So it was with Abigail, a beautiful woman who was married to a wealthy man named Nabal, who was known to be so ill-tempered and grumpy that no one could even talk to him. He also liked to throw big parties, celebrating like a king, and get very drunk. At one point he even insulted David, a man of God, when David asked Nabal if he would be willing to share some of his food with his army. Nabal arrogantly and derogatorily sneered at David’s men; “Who is this fellow David? Who does this son of Jesse think he is? There are lots of servants these days who run away from their masters. Should I take my bread and my water and my meat that I’ve slaughtered for my shearers and give it to a band of outlaws who come from who knows where?” Abigail was embarrassed and said about her own husband that he was a wicked man and a fool. (See 1. Samuel 25:1-38) Husbands are like elders [...]

Once Saved Always Saved?

Is “once saved always saved” a true biblical statement? NO! The Bible says that “when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.” And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.” 2. Peter 2:20-22 NLT  That is why when you get saved you need to “work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.” Philippians 2:12 NLT  If “once saved always saved” would be the truth you would have no need for the following scripture either; “My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner [...]

Speaking In Tongues

It is God’s desire for every born-again Christian to speak in tongues or even in an unknown language. The Bible says that if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God and it will strengthen you personally. People won’t be able to understand you; you will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious. For when you pray in tongues, it is your spirit who is praying and you don’t understand what you are saying. The scriptures also encourages that anyone who speaks in tongues should pray for the ability to interpret what has been said. It is often so that people who do not understand this, think you are crazy and have no clue what you are doing when you are speaking in tongues and interpreting. It even goes so far that in many churches they literally forbid believers from speaking in tongues, and yet the apostle Paul clearly said; “DON’T FORBID SPEAKING IN TONGUES”!!! (See 1. Corinthians 14:1-40)

America is hopelessly confused. The people’s minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him. They have no sense of shame. They live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity, like homosexuality. (See Ephesians 4:17-19) The Church is partially to blame for this. Instead of equipping God’s people to do His work, the Church is busy teaching “make me feel good” -messages and telling the people that being a Christian and living the gay lifestyle at the same time is OK. The Church is immature like children. It is being tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching and is easily influenced when people try to trick it with lies so clever they sound like the truth. It is time for the true Christians to speak the truth in love so that the Church can grow as it is supposed to and meant to in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of His [...]

Hypocritical Questions

Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, was so insincere and hypocritical when he said about Mary, the woman who anointed Jesus’ feet with expensive perfume; “That perfume was worth a year’s wages. It should have been sold and the money given to the poor.” Not that he cared for the poor—he was a thief, and since he was in charge of the disciples’ money, he often stole some for himself. (See John 12:1-6) It has happened several times that we have had to deal with similar types of false accusations from so-called Christians, who has hypocritically criticized and rejected our Biblically sound teachings and blogs, by asking for instance; “where is the love?”, while they themselves don’t show us any love whatsoever! These so-called Christians are just like Judas, and the Bible warns us about people like that: “The Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are [...]

Sugar Sweet Teachings

By Sophia Christiaan

It’s funny how people who have been feeding on the sugar sweet, motivational, “you have a winner inside” kind of messages, can be so conditioned by these preachers that they truly believe that Christianity and the Bible is all about being POSITIVE. So much so that they take a deliberate stand against any Christians who dare bring a word of truth from Gods Word about some of the sick areas in the Body of Christ. They have been fed New Age principles such as the Law of Attraction – that what you say comes back to you, like karma – and putting self in the center of everything, believing that all you need to succeed in life can be found within yourself. The Law of Attraction, a way of confessing yourself rich or successful, which so many preachers are in to, is actually a deeply satanic infiltration of the teachings of New Age and Theosophy in the church, that started in the early 1900, and of course have been around for centuries, also known as Luciferianism. These [...]

Jesus Didn’t Sell The Gospel

The Bible says to “imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.” Ephesians 5:1-2 NLT Yes, as born-again Christians, we should follow the example of Jesus Christ (including His disciples), who did not go around dressed in designer suits and ties, looking like businessmen, selling God’s Word and the Gospel through books, CD’s, and DVD’s, begging for money, charging non-refundable fees for conferences, teachings, and worship seminars, imposing the Old Testament law of Tithing on people, promising all sorts of financial and healing breakthroughs in exchange for the sowing of money seeds, and living lavishly. No, Jesus and His disciples were examples of those who practice what they preached; they trusted the Father to provide the means through miracles, in order for them give it away free of charge! They fully understood what their Master and Savior Jesus Christ taught them: “Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:8 NKJV That is why the apostle Paul could rightfully say: “And you should imitate [...]

How Men Can Save Their Marriage

It is amazing to see how many Christian husbands have a hard time putting the following Bible scripture into practice; “You husbands must give honor to your wives.” 1. Peter 3:7 NLT They never tell their wives how much they love them, how beautiful they are, what a great wife and mother they are, how wonderful they cook, being interested in the wellbeing of their wives by asking them how they are doing, or how their day went and so on. They absolutely do no effort to want to understand their wives. But when it comes to sports or work, these husbands are all talkative to others. These men are basically bankrupting their wives, and it is no wonder that many of these marriages end up in divorce. Husbands, in order to save your marriage, you have to “treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.” 1. [...]

Preaching With Ulterior Motives

There are people who are bitterly jealous and have selfish ambition in their hearts, and they cover up the truth about their real motives with boasting and lying. (See James 3:14) You see this sort of thing happening a lot among pastors and ministers who preach out of jealousy and rivalry. They do not have pure motives as they preach about Christ. The apostle Paul also found that out when he said; they preach with selfish ambition, not sincerely, intending to make my chains more painful to me. (See Philippians 1:15-17) The Bible says that “jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.” James 3:15-17 NLT  I like Paul’s humble attitude towards [...]

Sex Outside Marriage

“But if a man thinks that he’s treating his fiancée improperly and will inevitably give in to his passion, let him marry her as he wishes. It is not a sin.” 1. Corinthians 7:36 NLT  This is because having sex outside marriage is considered to be immoral. That is why the Bible says that “because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband.” 1. Corinthians 7:2 NLT  It is “God’s will for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor— not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.” 1. Thessalonians 4:3-5 NLT And in Ephesians 5:3 NLT God also tells us; “Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.”
