The majority of the Christian church with their false pastors are what Jesus spoke about in the Bible book of Mark chapter 4;

They hear the message, but they start worrying about the needs of this life. They are fooled by the desire to get rich and to have all kinds of other things. So the message gets choked out and no fruit is being produced. (See Mark 4:18-19)

These people think religion is supposed to make them rich. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. (See 1 Timothy 6:5-6)

They no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They follow their own desires and look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They reject the truth and chase after myths. (See 2 Timothy 4:3-4)

They happily put up with whatever anyone tells them, even if they preach a different Jesus, or a different kind of Spirit, or a different kind of gospel. (See 2 Corinthians 11:4)

They are the ones who give the way of truth a bad name. (See 2 Peter 2:2)
