When prayers are not being answered it could be because of un-forgiveness.
“Whenever you stand up to pray, you must forgive what others have done to you. Then your Father in heaven will forgive your sins.”Mark 11:25-26 CEV
You don’t have faith, but instead you doubt.
Here is what Jesus told His disciples,
“Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” Mark 11:22-24 NLT
The Scriptures further says,
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”James 1:5-8 NKJV
Another reason why prayers are not being answered is because of selfish motives.
“You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.”James 4:2-3 NLT
When a husband dishonors his wife his prayers are not going to be answered.
“If you are a husband, you should be thoughtful of your wife. Treat her with honor, because she isn’t as strong as you are, and she shares with you in the gift of life. Then nothing will stand in the way of your prayers.”1 Peter 3:7 CEV
