I was just watching a church service on television, where an excited pastor was giving a complicated, revelatory sermon, as he called it, on how to tap in and enter into the anointing, in order to get all the financial recourses you need, and be empowered to capture the attention of the world around you, as you being you, becomes Him with you. It is only when you step into this anointing that you are able to understand this engagement, which enables you to release all the blessings of the heavenly spheres upon your life and surroundings. You are not only able to touch the financial blessings, but you can literally grasp it and make it yours. You are basically unlocking the safe of the heavenly secrets. The church was loud and going crazy, shouting hallelujah, praise the Lord! At the end of the broadcast I was baffled, thinking, what was this pastor talking about? What was the church so excited about? The answer; it comes down to the same story that is being preached in these church circles; that the people get excited about how to get finances from God, instead of wanting to know how to love and serve God! These false prosperity messages continues to spread like wild fires in all sorts of crafty intellectual sounding varieties, leading millions astray. The Bible warns us against this deception;

“Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.” 1. Timothy 4:1-2 NLT

“You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.” 2. Corinthians 11:4 NLT

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas.” Hebrews 13:8-9 NLT

“Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.” Colossians 2:8 NLT

My Prayer For You
“I am trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false teachings. God will judge that person, whoever he or she is, who has been confusing you.” Galatians 5:10 NLT
