The Lord warns us that we should not put Christ to the test, as some of the Israelites did in the desert  and then died from snakebites. And we should not grumble and complain as some of them did, and then were destroyed by the angel of death. These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who lives at the end of the age. (See 1. Corinthians 10:9-11) “People who are grumblers and complainers are living only to satisfy their desires.” Jude 1:16 NLT That is why God admonishes us to “do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you.” Philippians 2:14-15 NLT And also, you should not grumble about your brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. For look—the Judge is standing at the door! (See James 5:9)
